The Island of Tabarca
Less than an hour and a half off the coast from Benidorm is the island of Tabarca. Calp – Baños de la Reina (The Queen’s Baths)
They may look like small swimming pools, but in fact this is a Roman site made up of six basins that were originally used for breeding fish. Its calm, crystal clear waters are ideal for a relaxing swim where you’ll discover the famous marine environments in the waters surrounding the Natural Park of Penyal d’Ifac. Moraig Cove and the Cave of Arches
Hidden away just beside Moraig Cove, in the town of Benitatxell, is one of the jewels of the Costa Blanca, the Cave of Arches. It is a natural marine cave formed of three huge arches. Inside, you’ll find an immense pool of the most stunning turquoise water. The view is even more spectacular when sunlight shines through the hole in its dome, reflecting and sparkling in the water. The Algar Waterfalls
